Commerce Intelligence for Shopify

Most marketing tools start with content.
Stockative starts with your business.

Stockative reads your inventory, sales performance and brand voice to decide what to promote next — then turns those decisions into on‑brand content designed to sell.

Inventory + Sales Product Priority Content Social
01 — The idea

Stockative doesn't ask you what to post. It tells you what is worth promoting.

It identifies products that need visibility, products gaining momentum and opportunities hidden inside your inventory — then turns those insights into marketing action.

The result: a smarter connection between inventory, merchandising and marketing.

02 — How it decides

Every product gets read as a signal, not a caption prompt.

Stockative watches sales velocity, days since last sale and stock on hand, then sorts what's worth talking about this week — before a single word of copy gets written.

Stock level · Sales velocity · Days since last sale · Inventory age · Recent momentum

03 — Your brand, not a template

Every recommendation is generated against your brand voice.

Stockative learns your visual identity and tone from your own store, then writes and designs inside those guardrails — so the output looks like you made it, not like it came from a prompt.

01 · Detect

Cordía Burgundy Loafers

1 left in stock, 4 sold in the last 30 days — sales momentum worth accelerating before it sells out.

02 · Recommend

Feature this week

Stockative flags it as a priority post: low stock plus strong recent sales is a limited-availability story.

03 · Create

On-brand content, ready to publish

A product visual and caption generated in your brand voice, framed around scarcity, ready for Instagram and Pinterest.

→ Merchandising

Right product, right week

Priority comes from what's actually happening in your store, not a content calendar guessing in the dark.

→ Creative

On‑brand, every time

Visuals and copy generated against your approved brand voice — never a generic template with your logo pasted on.

→ Distribution

From your store to where customers discover you

Publishes where your customers actually are — Instagram, Pinterest and beyond — from the same commerce signal.

From stock to social. From data to better decisions.

Stockative ("we", "our") is an AI content-decision tool for Shopify merchants. This page explains what data we access through your store and your connected social accounts, why, and who else ever sees it.

What we collect

When you install Stockative, Shopify grants us read access to your store under the scopes you approve at install. Today that's:

From Shopify

  • Product catalog data — titles, descriptions, prices, images, inventory levels, product type and tags (read_products).
  • Order data — line items and quantities, used only in aggregate to compute sales velocity per product (read_orders). We do not access customer names, addresses, or payment details.

From you, directly

  • Brand voice inputs — description, tone and any "never say" guidance you write or approve.
  • Content pillar and publishing-language preferences you set inside the app.

From connected social accounts

If you connect Instagram/Facebook or Pinterest, we receive an access token from Meta or Pinterest's own OAuth flow, plus the account identifiers needed to publish (a Page ID, an Instagram Business Account ID, or a Pinterest board ID). We never receive your Meta or Pinterest password.

What we do with it

  • Compute a priority signal per product (sales velocity, days since last sale, inventory age) to decide what's worth promoting next.
  • Generate captions, images and Pin copy via the AI providers listed below, grounded in your product data and brand voice — never sent anywhere without your review before it publishes.
  • Publish approved content to the social accounts you've explicitly connected, only when you (or your scheduled plan) trigger it.
  • Collect public engagement metrics (likes, comments) on posts published through Stockative, to show you what's working.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use your product or order data to train any AI model.

Who else processes it

We share the minimum data each of the following needs to do its job:

Shopify, Inc.
Source of your store, product and order data.
Meta Platforms, Inc.
Publishes content to Instagram/Facebook when you connect and approve a post.
Pinterest, Inc.
Publishes Pins to your connected Pinterest boards when you approve a post.
OpenRouter, Inc.
Routes content-generation requests to the underlying model (currently Anthropic or Google) — receives only the product/brand text needed for that one generation.

How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as the app is installed. When you uninstall, Shopify's mandatory app-uninstalled webhook tells us to revoke stored tokens and schedule deletion of your store data. You can also request deletion at any time — see Contact below.

Where we are today: Stockative is in Early Access, currently live with a small group of pilot merchants while we build toward general availability. The data practices above are what the app actually does right now; nothing here is aspirational.

Security

Access tokens (Shopify, Meta, Pinterest) are stored encrypted at rest. Access to production data is limited to what's needed to operate the app.

Your rights

If you're in the EU/EEA or UK, you have the right to access, correct, export or delete your data under GDPR. Contact us and we'll respond without undue delay, and in any event within one month of your request (extendable by up to two further months for complex requests, in which case we'll tell you why).

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Stockative after a change means you accept the update.
